Impact Ministry
Overview
The Impact Ministry is BCM's traveling ministry designed to reach out and share Christ with the surrounding community and state. Its purpose is to make a lasting impact for Christ on the lives of the hundreds of youth and young adults in churches throughout Georgia. The ministry is active during the fall and spring semesters leading organized activities around the state, including Disciple Nows, lock-ins, "fifth quarters," Sunday school services, Christian rallies/assemblies, worship services on other college campuses, and other similar events. In addition, the Impact Ministry also appears at BCM Gathering and teams with other campus ministries in Athens.
CenterStage
Do you have a passion for sharing the gospel and and having fun? Centerstage is BCM's traveling drama troupe. In their scheduled events, the group shares the message of the gospel through dramatic interpretation. If you would like to find out more please submit this form and Rachel Johnson will call you back. Note you must be willing to be a small group leader at ministry events as well.
Impact Band
The Impact Band serves as BCM's traveling worship band, playing and leading worship for scheduled events. Auditions for the New Dawg Band as well as the Impact Band were held September 2nd-4th. We are still in need of people with media and sound skills. Dance Team
The Dance Team shares the love of Christ through interpretive movements and dance. A few things on the schedule are to perform/dance at gathering once a semester and Restoration in the spring and maybe fall, and also we will be traveling to churches to perform. Rehearsal will be held on Monday and Wednesday at 8:30 pm. Any changes on rehearsal will be discussed at later times. We have hip-hop team again YEAH! Get excited! So tell all your friends, we are also still going to lyrical/ballet dance as well. (p.s. you do not have to do hip-hop so, do not stress, that is a different branch of dance team this year). We will also be doing jazz routine if you want to do that. This team is headed up by Amanda Harris.
